1. Acceptance of terms

By accessing or using Tamagana ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

2. Description of the Service

Tamagana provides adaptive vocabulary tests in multiple languages. Results are statistical estimates and should not be treated as certified language proficiency assessments.

Tamagana is currently in beta and completely free while it is being developed by a one-person, founder-led team. In a worst-case scenario, your app progress or saved activity may be lost during this beta period.

The founder is grateful for feedback of any kind, especially while Tamagana is still being shaped.

3. User accounts

• You must provide accurate information when creating an account.
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account.
• We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or automate access to the Service in ways that harm its performance.
• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose.
• Misrepresent your identity or affiliation when using the Service.

5. Intellectual property

All content, design, and software on Tamagana is the property of Tiengos unless otherwise stated. You may not reproduce or redistribute any part of the Service without prior written permission.

6. Disclaimer of warranties

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that test results will be accurate for any particular use case, including academic or professional certification.

7. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Tiengos shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.

8. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.
